My Journey

Hello, I'm Sol Rodriguez, and my journey from Buenos Aires to Los Angeles has been as remarkable as my passion for helping others. Born and raised in the bustling city of Buenos Aires, I embarked on a career in psychology, driven by a deep desire to make a difference in people's lives.

In 2002, I made a life-changing decision to move to Los Angeles with my husband and son, seeking new opportunities and a fresh start. Upon arriving in the United States, I faced the daunting task of revalidating my master's degree in psychology in my second language, all while balancing the responsibilities of raising two children and adapting to life in a new country. Undeterred by the obstacles in my path, I immersed myself in learning the intricacies of the American legal system, particularly in the realm of Victims of Crime services.

With determination and perseverance, I mastered this new system, overcoming language barriers and cultural differences to become a trusted advocate for those in need. In 2020, I fulfilled my dream of starting my own business.

However, amidst my success, I recognized a glaring gap in the services available to vulnerable populations. Many individuals who did not qualify for government-funded assistance were left without access to essential services. Determined to address this injustice, I set out to create a solution that would ensure no one fell through the cracks.

That’s when I decided to create this nonprofit, to provide free mental health services that transform families and guide them to living healthier lives. My dedication to making a difference and my unwavering compassion serve as a beacon of hope for those in need.
