What We Do

Since 2003, we have been providing mental health services to Hispanics in the Los Angeles area.

Our Mission

We are here to provide free therapy, parenting classes and domestic violence classes for those who can’t afford it. Hispanic immigrants in our community are facing immense challenges with little support available. Many families arrive seeking better opportunities but are often left vulnerable and unsupported, especially when it comes to mental health and family-related issues. We are here to change that.

Leadership

Meet the Founder

  • Say hello to Sol Rodriguez, the woman whose journey from Buenos Aires to Los Angeles is as remarkable as her passion for helping others. Born and raised in the bustling city of Buenos Aires, Sol embarked on a career in psychology.

In 2002, Sol made a life-changing decision to move to Los Angeles with her husband and son, seeking new opportunities and a fresh start. Little did she know, her journey would be filled with challenges and triumphs that would shape her into the resilient and compassionate leader she is today.

Upon arriving in the United States, Sol faced the daunting task of revalidating her master's degree in psychology in her second language, all while balancing the responsibilities of raising two children and adapting to life in a new country. Undeterred by the obstacles in her path, Sol immersed herself in learning the intricacies of the American legal system, particularly in the realm of Victims of Crime services.

With determination and perseverance, Sol mastered this new system, overcoming language barriers and cultural differences to become a trusted advocate for those in need. In 2020, she fulfilled her dream of starting her own business.

However, amidst her success, Sol recognized a glaring gap in the services available to vulnerable populations. Many individuals who did not qualify for government-funded assistance were left without access to essential services. Determined to address this injustice, Sol set out to create a solution that would ensure no one fell through the cracks.

That’s when she decided to create this nonprofit, to provide free mental health services that transform families and guide them to living healthier lives. Her dedication to making a difference and her unwavering compassion serve as a beacon of hope for those in need.
